Edan Portaro has been nurturing sales teams and executing on sales plans for the last several years – in the trenches, serving as SVP of Sales with such companies as Monster Worldwide (formerly TMP Worldwide) and YellowPages.com, where he helped sell the company for a record sum to a consortium of SBC and BellSouth (see news).
Edan says he is "fortunate to have learned how to sell multi-million dollar solutions to CEOs at major companies as well as several hundred dollar solutions to owners of small businesses.”
He has spent the last 15 years working with the Fortune 2000 developing print and interactive marketing solutions.
He joined TechTransform in March 2005 to head a new sales and business development team.
Recently, this team carried out a “rapid raid” on behalf of a security consultancy, reaching the highest decision-makers in the target segment in just days for time-critical feedback and pre-sales interviews. The client remarked: "The guys you have working on the mini-project have been quite amazing in delivering results!"
This direct contact “speed technique”, combined with extensive use of first-degree LinkedIn networks to reach trusted allies, has become a new commercialization weapon for TechTransform's clients.
