About Kevin Pestinger

Kevin Pestinger comes to TechTransform with a deep understanding of how to achieve product distribution through new and traditional sales channels efficiently.  He has spent the last several years helping to bring about the emerging convergence between brick and mortar and online merchants, and the distribution of local information to meet consumer demands.
Kevin spent close to seven years with Citysearch, a division of InteractiveCorp (IACI), where he was responsible for strategic planning and strategic business development. His team developed and launched one of the first local pay for performance (PFP) models, increasing sales productivity by over 400% and growing Citysearch’s customer base from 8,000 to over 26,000 in one year. His team developed financial modeling and an agreement for PFP distribution with Yahoo!/Overture worth over $1M per year. Kevin has been a guest speaker at The Kelsey Group Conference presenting to select groups of Yellow Page and local-search executives.
In his Business Development role at Citysearch, Kevin developed PFP agreements with Service Master, Lawyers.com and others representing more than 400,000 local merchants/professionals. Kevin also developed and managed major content syndication partnerships with clients including the Miller Time Network and national radio station groups.
Earlier, Mr. Pestinger served as General Manager for the Portland Citysearch office, Sales Manager for the Los Angeles Citysearch office, and Training Manager developing more than 200 members of Citysearch’s nationwide field sales force.
Before joining Citysearch, Kevin was Assistant to the Director of International Field Studies and Internships at Brigham Young University as well as Assistant to the Chair of The Center for the Study of Values in Organizations at the Marriott School of Management.
